Head into the centre of Cherbourg and follow signs for Cite de la Mer.  Continue past the Cite until you reach the roundabout.  Aire straight ahead.  No facilities and there is a sign saying for use by Cite visitors only and parking limited to 24 hours but nobody seemed to take any notice as the Cite is closed from 6pm.  Could get very busy in high season and restrictions on 24 limit may be enforced.

Attractions Nearby

Cherbourg centre was a disappointment to us as it was more a commercial port that a quaint fishing harbour.  Good cycling though and the Cite de la Mer is fascinating
